ALL CHILDREN AND YOUTH, DIVIDED BY AGE GROUPS, have the RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE, optionally Live/on the stage/ or Online on 30.05 and 1.06.2025.

The competitions are held on stages in the picturesque Old Town town of Dryanovo, nestled at the foot of the mountain along the beautiful banks of the Dryanovska River and the Yantra River.

Dryanovo is a kind of center and is located 212 km from Sofia, 243 km from Varna, 202 km from Bucharest, which is an advantage for access and convenient location. Upon request, the organizers will organize your transportation from these airports to the hotel!

Nearby are ethnographic and historical landmarks such as the Dryanovo Monastery “St.Archangel Michael”, the “Bacho Kiro” Cave, the Kolyu Ficheto Museum, the Church of St.Nicholas, one of Kolyu Ficheto’s masterpieces, the House of the Steward / the only onepreserved from Kolyu Ficheto’s houses, built in 1859, the Lafchi House / built without a single nail or iron bracket /, one of the first clock towers in Bulgaria in 1778, The personalities born in Dryanovo are Kolyu Ficheto / 1800 -1881 / the most famous Bulgarian architect and builder during the Bulgarian National Revival, Nikola Mushanov – Prime Minister of Bulgaria, leader of the Democratic Party in Bulgaria, Racho Stoyanov -playwright, Todor Popov -composer, academician Hristo Nedyalkov / 1932-2013/ – composer, conductor, founder andleader of the Children’s Radio Choir of Bulgarian National Radio

• Classical Dance, Ballroom Dance, Modern Dance (Jazz, Modern, Neoclassical, etc.), National Dance (Folk Dance), Pop Dance, Social Dances (Swing, Argentine tango, Zoug, Kizomba, Bachata, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Reggaeton, Hustle, etc.)., Mixed styles of Dance

Instrumental Music (Ensembles, Orchestras, Quartettes, Trios, Duettes and individual performers)

• Modern Music, Pop Music, National Music, Classical Music, Ethnical Music, etc.

Vocal (Choirs, Ensembles of different styles of execution, Quartettes, Trios, Duettes and Soloists)

• Modern, National, Academic, Church choirs, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Rap, etc.

Children, adult creative groups and individual performers with no age limit can take part in the Festival.

AGE CATEGORIES OF PARTICIPANTS

The participants in the festival are divided into the following age groups:

• • Group 1 is divided into: 3-4; 5-6; 7-8 years old

  • Group 2 – from 9 years old to 12 years old, (9 – 10; 11-12)

  • Group 3 – from 13 years old to 16 years old (13-14; 15-16)

  • Group 4 – from 17 years old to 18 years old

  * Group 5 – over 19+ years old

  Attention! The age of the groups and ensembles is determined by the prevailing number of participants. The age of a participant is determined by the number of years completed on the date of the competition. It is allowed to change the groups in favor of the participants

Competitions:

1. Competition for performing a children’s song dedicated to children and June 1, their holiday.

2. Competition for performing a Bulgarian song /golden Bulgarian hits/ or Native language song.

3. Competition for performing a world hit, evergreen/all styles/.

4. Competition for performing a song from Eurovision, including Junior Eurovision

5. Competition Folklore – instrumentalists, singing, dance groups

6. Competition for performing a Musical / singing and dancing

7. Competition: My musical family /instrumentalists and singers, dancing/, includes performances by parents and children; teachers, parents and children; children in family ties, etc.

8. Competition Dance – folklore, classical, modern ballet, character, contemporary, all styles

9. Competition Miss and Mister Festival Dryanovo

Festival jury

1.The organizational committee of the competition chooses the members of the international jury.


2.The jury rates the performances of the competition by voting secretly on a scale of 10 to 120.

3.The winner of the Grand Prix take a part of the jury or in the concerts in the next competition next year like guest.

4. Judges will not be allowed to judge contestants from their country

The Grand Prize “Musical Balkan” – a cup and 1000 euros /singleand indivisible/

The jury has the right not to award all prizes.

Main evaluation criteria

• Complexity of the repertoire and selection according to the age and capabilities of the performer

• Mastery of the performances; intonation purity, phrasing, dynamics of construction. technique.

• Artistry of the performances; stage presentation of the song and dance

Participation fee:

Solo singers: 85 euros for one category/ second and subsequent categories: 50 euros

additional participations: 40 euros for the second and subsequent song in the same category

Instrumentalists: 85 euros for the entire program

Duets: 90 euros/ in one category/ additional participation: second and subsequent song – 65 euros/the fee is given in total for both participants, i.e.

Groups, dance groups, choir – 150 euros/2 songs, 2 dances in one category/ additional for a third performance: 90 euros

Solo dancers: 85 euros for one category/ 2 dances/

additional participations: 50 euros for the next dance in another category

I. Vocal category – solo singing, duets, trios, quartets, vocal groups, choirs

II. Dances – folklore ensembles, modern ballet, classical, all categories and styles

The performance for the Online Competition must be sent by email by 10.05. 2025

The division into groups is the same. The participation fee for one performance is 45 euros for online! For those participating live, on stage, it is not necessary to send a video!!!Recommendation: The song or work should be chosen to show the maximum capabilities of the performer and in accordance with his age.

Overnight stays for participants can be booked at preferential prices upon request at Hotel 4 ****/3 nights including breakfast, lunch and dinner 190 euros per person/partner of the festival upon prior request. Free parking.
